Ladyfingers Olive Green Bowl A44315 The fusing and shaping process
Description
The fusing and shaping process yields a softly organic edge
the top piece is aluminum and the supporting pieces are mild steel that have been given a rusted/oxidized patina
Burnt Orange and Olive: One-of-a-kind piece
Adorn your wall with an awe-inspiring flock of birds soaring among puffy clouds
carved on a bandsaw and then deftly painted with acrylic
Ladyfingers Olive Green Bowl A44315 The fusing and shaping processHand cut threads of glass are layered beautifully in this artful bowl. After the glass is fused together the piece goes back into the kiln three more times to make the shape. Due to the irregularity of the threads, they move and shift into their own organic shape. Each one will have its own personality at the end of firing. Very similar but not identical. Signed by the artist Materials: Glass
