Perfect balance between grape tannins and wood tannins that make it tasty
boysenberry and blackberry preserve start this wine off in an extremely decadent direction
The resulting wine is a split screen of bright acidity and some darker tones from the older base wine
It is a blend that not only expresses the quality of our old vines
Wine with spicy aromas
McKahn Morning Glass Grenache Poderi Cellario Perfect balance between grape tanninsA dynamically fruit forward wine, the bouquet opens with bing cherry, red currant, elderberry, and raspberry compote. Bramble, all spice, and what can only be described as a warm, sunny California summer day (yes that has a smell, and its unmistakable) complement this wine nicely. The palate is rich and soft with supple tannins and a lingeringly long finish. The Grenache grapes used to craft this wine were grown by Luis Zabala in the Arroyo Seco
