The Feather Spool III features an ultra-thin 0.2 mm wall thickness—making it the thinnest and lightest spool in the world—paired with a titanium alloy main shaft, bringing the total weight down to just 3.8 g/0.13 oz. Despite its ultra-lightweight construction, the spool maintains excellent line capacity through its optimized 28 mm outer diameter design, while delivering lower rotational inertia and faster startup performance. Its featherlight, ultra-rigid construction minimizes starting resistance, allowing anglers to easily cast lures as light as almost 1/64 oz / 0.5g. The spool delivers precise, low-trajectory casts and gentle landings, giving full control over the lure’s flight path. This enables effortless precision and extended casting distance with light baits, making it perfectly suited for finesse fishing
